Clay faces and leaf mobiles!

The children have had another fun week at forest schools with Mr Kiddle! This week we went into the forest to make clay faces, the children made a face out of clay, we then went and explored the forest for different materials to put on the face, sticks for the nose, acorns/stones for the eyes, leafs for the ears and grass for the hair.. Wow what fun we had! After we explored the forest for some leaves to make a 'leaf mobile' we made a hole in the leafs and threaded them onto string to make a lovely colorful piece of Autumn work. The children also had fun having ago on the tightrope and on the hammock! We also found worms and a caterpillar which we enjoyed talking about!
