In Week 1 we studied what a plants need to grow and to be healthy. As a class, we set up a science investigation by planting seeds in pots and put the seeds in different places where they would not receive a need. The places we chose: in a cupboard, in the fridge, on the windowsill but not watered, on the windowsill with no soil and on the windowsill with water.
These are our plants that grew. The left plant was in the cupboard and it still grew but was not healthy! It was fragile, white and the leaves were very small. The plant on the right was the one that was in the windowsill and was watered. It was very healthy and strong!
These were our other plants where one seed had no soil and the other was not watered. Both of the seeds did not grow!
