Attendance is expected to be at least 97%. This is equivalent to having just five days off throughout the academic year.
PE kits are to be kept in school at all times. PE kits will be taken home at the end of each half term to be washed.
Children are to wear a plain white T-shirt, black shorts and black pumps for PE lessons as per the school uniform policy.
Reading is to be done every night at home and diaries are to be signed by the adult who listened to them. Planners are checked daily.
Spellings are handed out on Monday to be practised at home as well as in school and a test is given every Friday
Homework will be issued twice a week (Monday and Wednesday) and is expected to be returned before the next piece of homework is handed out. Homework is used to consolidate or extend the learning that has taken place in school.
