Today, an Anglo Saxon visited Year Four to help launch our new topic 'Saxon Settlers'. We had a great time learning about Saxon food, clothes and weapons. We got to try on different outfits, hold weapons, grind wheat, stamp coins, play Anglo Saxon games, investigate mystery objects and write in runes.
