Reception visited Park Hall Country Park for an Autumn walk. We have been learning about Autumn throughout this terms Forest School sessions and wanted to explore a big woodland to see what seasonal changes we could and apply what we have learnt. We found sweet chestnuts, acorns, rose hips, lots of different types of mushroom and fungi, tasted blackberries, walked through an amazing pine wood land and saw some beautiful autumn colours. We each had a bag that we filled with Autumn treasure that we found on the way.
The weather was perfect, and it was great to be outside exploring, we are planning to go back in Winter, Spring and Summer to see how the woodlands change in each season.
