All things Autumnal...

Autumn has landed and the children at Little Sandon have been busy participating in various Autumn themed activities. Firstly the children set off in search of some leaves for our activities which was exciting as our Forest was full. The leaves were then used for leaf printing, making Autumn crowns and extra materials for our construction tray. Meanwhile, our Home corner included a Hospital/Doctor theme this week which encouraged lots of discussions about when we are poorly and what we need to get better, whilst encouraging lots of caring role play as the children worked together to help the patients. The bandages were very popular!
