In year 3 today, we have had a brilliant day celebrating Earth Day. Our theme for the day
was 'Renewable Energy' and we have learnt lots of new things.
We have been learning all about what renewable energy is, examples of renewable and non-renewable energy and we did some writing about the advantages and disadvantages.
We also learned all about wind power and how energy is produced from wind turbines. We then decorated and made our very own wind vanes! They looked absolutely brilliant.
Planting our seeds
We also went over to the village to plant some seeds in our planter! We are going to keep going back to water them over the next few weeks. We can't wait to watch them grow!
