Fireworks in a bottle

To help us to celebrate Bonfire Night this week, Year 2 have deepened their understanding of the past by putting themselves in Guy Fawkes shoes and gathering artifacts that he would have needed for his gun powder plot. We then used this knowledge to help us understand why we celebrate Bonfire Night with fireworks and made our own fireworks in a bottle, exploring the science behind this.
