We had a fantastic afternoon in Year 3 investigating friction by comparing how a toy car moves on different surfaces. We created a fair test and compared how far a toy car would travel on our classroom floor, thick carpet and artificial grass. It's safe to safe that our smooth classroom floor created the least amount of friction and the thick carpet created the most.
Well done to Year 3, you were super Scientists!
