Looking back!

Updated: Oct 15, 2020

This week Year 1 have been looking at toys and transport from the past and comparing with toys and transport today. We have and an amazing week discovering how toys of the past were made, what materials were used and how they differ from the toys we play with. The children were mesmerised by the wind up tin car and crocodile, and loved the wood pull along. So on Wednesday when they were asked to make a wooden doll they were over the moon and by Friday they could not believe it when they were asked to make their own transport toy. What a fantastic job they made!
