Poetry Day in year 6

We loved our poetry day this week! We focused on the poem 'In Flanders Fields' and it was perfect timing as Remembrance Day was this week too! We spent lots of time thinking about the soldiers that lost their lives in the war and then we wrote our own narrative poems about life in the trenches.
