To celebrate Earth Day 2021, Year 2 have focused on Recycling and Reusing to protect our environment. We organised rubbish into the different recycling bins like those that we have at home. We then designed and made new uses for our plastic bottles such as plant pots, vases, pencil pots, money banks and bird feeders. We also looked at the life of a plastic bottle and the process of reusing and recycling it.
Along with the whole school, we also planted Wild Flowers in our own Year 2 planters to take care of.
