Remembrance Day

Nursery have learnt all about why we wear a poppy and what the importance of today is. We watched a short clip on cbeebies to watch a cartoon clip on remembrance day and the children were able to participate in the 2 minutes silence. The children have been creative and used a range of materials to create poppies, which have gone up on our wall display. The children have also had fun mark making in tunnels and under the tables pretending to be soldiers. We also used toy soldiers to explore number to quantity.
