Year 3's science is becoming very exciting.
Today we've done our very first experiment of the year and tested to see if rocks were permeable or not permeable. Sounds confusing doesn't it? Not for us... we've learnt that if a rock is permeable, it lets water through. We talked about how our experiment was a fair test and even learnt about variables (tricky stuff). We found that sandstone and chalk were permeable and slate and marble are not.
