Science Ambassadors

Last term, our Science Ambassadors from Year Five had a fabulous opportunity to attend some science Ambassador Training provided by the Ogden Trust.

During the day, the children had the chance to work with other pupils from across the city to develop their leadership skills within science. The children came back from the training buzzing with excitement about taking their new skills back out onto our KS2 playground at lunchtimes.

Each week, our ambassadors provide a range of science activities for the children to engage in from bug hunting and exploring with magnets to finding forces in action. We are lucky to now have a vast array of playground science bags that the children can now alternate onto the playground each half term, showing our pupils that science doesn’t have to stop in the classroom.
