Spring has sprung in Year 2 Science!

This half term in Year 2, we are investigating the best conditions for plants to grow...

Each group have planted a sunflower seed and positioned their pot in different places to compare which will grow better.

Group 1 have put their pot into the cupboard with no sunlight or water.

Group 2 have positioned their pot in the window for sunlight but no water.

Group 3 have hidden theirs in a drawer to be watered but it will have no sunlight.

Group 4 have put their pot outside of our classroom in the sunshine and to be watered.

Which seed do you think will grow the best?
