Question Time:
1) Can you remember what fruit the hungry caterpillar ate on Monday?
2) How many pears did he eat?
3) Do you think you would have tummy ache if you ate all that food? 4) What is your favorite fruit to eat?
Parent prompts:
Listen to the story with your child, pause as you go through the story to discuss what you can see on each page. As you do this you could use some of the questions above to ask your child. You could talk about what your favorite foods are and dislikes. You could use some of the fruits out of the story to make a fruit kebab or yummy salad.
