Questions to ask your child:
How many pigs were In the story?
What materials were the houses made from?
Why did the wolf want to go in to the pigs’ houses? Should the pigs have let the wolf in?
What would you do to make the wolf happy?
Parent prompts:
Ask your child the questions and discuss with them the importance of kindness and making friends. It’s good to talk about strangers too and the importance of not letting people in the house, but think about what we could do to help the wolf instead. We could help him by telling him about doctors and how they help when we are poorly. Talk about how sad the wolf is and practise your best sad faces. Perhaps discuss some things that make you sad.
