World Book Day

Wow, what a super day we have had in Year one. Our whole school looked at the story 'Zoo'. In year one we had some fantastic discussions regarding how the animals might feel and what the animals might dream about. The children came up with lots of brilliant ideas. They said that the animals might dream about escaping and going to live in the jungle with their friends. After we had discussed the story, year one created animal masks using lots of different craft resources. We then sequenced the story and acted it out, the children were amazing.
