Y2: Using coins

This morning in maths, we’ve been making amounts using part, part whole models to separate our tens and ones. If the children needed to make 64p they used the coins to make 60p and then 4p. They did a brilliant job and are ready to apply their practise into their maths books tomorrow 🧮
