Afternoon Tea in Year 5

On Wednesday, we celebrated our return to school by holding our very own Afternoon Tea.

In the morning, we followed instructions to make scrumptious sandwiches and delicious rice crispy cakes. After that, we wrote our own set of instructions using time conjunctions, adverbs, imperative verbs and adjectives.

We made our own bunting and decorated the room in preparation for our Afternoon Tea. We thought about sharing and we used our impeccable manners whilst enjoying our royal banquet.
