Autumn Explorers!

On Wednesday, Reception 2 went to Parkhall Nature Reserve to enjoy a nature walk. The children were very excited for their first ride on the Sandon Minibus, and spotted lots of local places they knew on the journey. We looked for all of the Autumn objects that we have been learning about in the classroom such as sweet chestnuts, conkers and pine cones and we found things we didn't expect like an abandoned den and wild fungi! We used technology to help us investigate the things we found and learnt lots of new words! We had a fantastic time, the children were exceptionally well behaved and were truly "Sandon Rock!"
