Bang, Boom, Crackle and Sparkle

This week Nursery's learning as been focused around Bonfire Night. We have had lots of fun exploring colours and how they can be changed. We have been mark making in various ways including painting on to bread. The children have been counting with 'fireworks' and they have used their gross motor skills to draw fireworks outside on the chalking wall. This week we have also done a Science experiment using skittles in warm water, we watched as the skittles dissolved, however,

the colours did not mix. Ask your child to see if they can remember why the colours did not mix? Also through Science we looked at how we can change chocolate from a solid to a liquid then used this to create edible sparkles. "Yummy"
