Bringing Land Elevations to Life!

In Year 5, we have been studying the features of a topographical map of the UK. These maps show the elevations of land above ground and sea level. In order to deepen our understanding of how these maps work, we have made our own topographical map using clay. Once these were dry, we painted them to show the land elevations at their highest peaks.
