Nursery noticed it was getting colder in the woods and we thought about what happened to the animals of the wood over winter. We read "Don't Wake Mr Bear" which is about a hibernating bear who gets woken up by some partying wolves.
We had to find ourselves a nice, cosy place to go to sleep over winter, wait for the Dormouse to ring his triangle to let us know winter was here, and go to sleep. When spring came we woke up, stretched, did a woodland workout to wake us up and went looking for food as we where really hungry after sleeping so long.
